The challenges that companies have faced locally and globally with respect to the vaccination drive for COVID 19 were collective and yet unique. Each organization had to work out how to protect not only their employees but those in their close contact. The complications and challenges of vaccine availability, rules, approvals, hesitancy, how to run your business while ensuring people were vaccinated at the earliest and so many more factors. My organization faced some very specific challenges. In this presentation I will share how starting May 2021 we have addressed this in my organization- what we did, why we took certain decisions and what we learnt. Participants are requested to share their experiences, of what they did / got done in their companies so we can all learn from each other.

Speaker Profile
Ms. Shabnam Mehta (Sam) is Vice President - Administration and External Affairs at Aditya Birla Group (ABG) Thailand. She has managed operations and her project portfolio is diverse - from software to infrastructure. She is instrumental in implementing projects in India for the Group’s Travel, Duty of Care, Crisis Management, Facility Management and defining the Group’s standards and policies in these areas during her role in India.
She was certified for PMP in 2017 which is renewed till 2026. A Masters in Human Resources, an English Major and a Hotel management professional, she was given full scholarship to complete a course in Strategy from the Columbia Business School. She was awarded with the Aditya Birla Group Chairman’s Distinguished Achiever Award in 2014. Her prior industry experience has been with ITC Hotels, Lowe Lintas & CB Richard Ellis.
