PMI Thailand Chapter invites you to a special half-day technical field trip to explore the MRT Purple Line Project: Tao Pun – Rat Burana (Kanchanapisek Road) Section, a flagship public infrastructure initiative designed to transform urban mobility in Bangkok.

This visit offers an exclusive behind-the-scenes experience, combining a technical briefing from one of the project’s leading contractors with a guided tour of a station currently under construction.

🔍 About the Project

The MRT Purple Line Project: Tao Pun – Rat Burana (Kanchanapisek Road) Section spans 23.6 kilometers and is designed to strengthen north-south connectivity across Bangkok.

The project includes:

  • 17 stations (10 underground and 7 elevated)
  • Park and Ride facilities supporting commuter access
  • Advanced rail and signaling systems
  • Environmental impact mitigation and community-centered design
  • A construction budget exceeding 82 billion THB

With a targeted completion date in 2030, the project plays a critical role in easing traffic congestion and integrating with Bangkok’s broader mass rapid transit network.

This field trip will not be streamed live and is available exclusively to in-person participants. Priority booking and preferential consideration will be given to PMI Thailand Chapter members.

Please note that registration is confirmed only upon receipt of payment. Pre-registration without payment will not be considered final, and reserved seats may be allocated to other participants who complete payment immediately upon registration.
