Workshop Overview:

Continuing on his 17 July lecture to the PMI Thailand chapter, our facilitator will focus on the ways that Project Managers sabotage their own power and influence by perpetuating behaviors that diminish their status.  We’ll focus on real-life situations from the participants to reinforce positive behaviors and find real-world solutions to improve their ability to lead and deliver projects.  Come prepared to sharpen your skills and be a star on your team.

Speaker Profile

In his 20th year as a PMP, Clay Springer is on a mission to change the way Project Managers are viewed (and view themselves) to invigorate and energize the project management practice and to drive even further business value. Bringing an engaging style and boundless energy, Clay has worked with clients across a number of industries to:

  • Build confidence and leadership skills in PMO teams;
  • Focus PMOs to provide optimized business support; and,
  • Drive stronger business-PMO relationships and value.

Clay is the founding partner of Pro Verne Solutions, a software company dedicated to providing the aviation industry with best-in-class tools to manage their operations.  Pro Verne couples great software with a customer engagement approach that is relentless in its pursuit of value.

Clay brings his his broad experience and unique interpersonal skills to help his clients, generate trust, commitment and candor in strengthening their organizations.  He strives to be a role model for the vision of the Project Leader and leads through a style that focuses on collaboration and elevating his team members.

Clay speaks regularly on Project Leadership and PMO transformation, helping PMs gain confidence, skills and tools to lead the next generation of projects. He holds an MA in Public Policy and Implementation from UC Santa Barbara and is certified as a Senior Mediator.
