The PMI Thailand Chapter is a volunteer non-profit organization with objectives geared towards the introduction and implementation of well-structured project management methodologies within organizations operating in Thailand. The Chapter charters volunteer committees to help further its objectives by adding value and benefits to its members. This page illustrates the number of volunteer committees currently chartered by the board and lists the various volunteers who are kindly contributing to the membership community. Translation Committee

Overseeing all the Chapter’s Content Translation

Committee responsible for all translation of the Chapter’s content from Thai to English or vice versa. Responsibilities include:

  • Recruit, manage, and oversee all volunteers in charge of translation.
  • Define all expectations and responsibilities required from volunteer translators.
  • Review volunteer expected translation work and recommend an equivalent number of PDUs to the board for approval prior to member award and retrospective submission of PDUs to PMI.
  • Review all content translated (English to Thai or Thai to English) and confirm translation meets required standards. Such content produced may be for the Chapter’s website, newsletters, content on social media and others.
  • Serve as the Point of Contact for all issues regarding language on the Chapter’s website, Facebook page, Twitter account, LinkedIn Group or any other social media tool.

Content Committee

Sourcing and managing all the Chapter’s Content

Committee responsible for sourcing and managing all content for all the Chapter’s publications. Responsibilities include:

  • Source content for all Chapter publications.
  • Define all expectations and responsibilities required from volunteer contributors.
  • Review volunteer content contributions and recommend an equivalent number of PDUs to the board for approval prior to member award and retrospective submission of PDUs to PMI.
  • Work with the committee in charge of translation to make sure content published is available in both Thai and English languages.
  • Maintain all the Chapter’s media channels including website and social media pages (twitter, LinkedIn, and Facebook).
  • Serve as the Point of Contact for all issues regarding content on the Chapter’s website and other social media tools.
