Many leaders are good but some are great. What contributes to becoming a great leader? Is every project manager a great leader? Is great leadership important in project or program management? This lecture addresses some of these questions in addition to many important aspects of great leadership in projects. Project Managers deal with diverse teams (including virtual teams) on a day-to-day basis and have to handle various types of conflicts. With specific leadership skills, project managers solve problems efficiently and direct teams effectively towards forming a cohesive unit that is essential for overall project success.

This lecture focuses on what project managers should do to encourage participation and collaboration amongst team members. Practical examples and exercises in team building should help listeners understand the concepts presented. 

Ms Pensri Wuttisittikulkij has about 30 years of experience in various IT fields including Application System Development, Business Analysis, Quality Assurance, Project Management, Portfolio Management, Contract Management, Vendor Management and IT governance, in both local and international companies. She also worked in various industries including Finance, Securities, Mutual Fund and Banking industry. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Statistics from Chulalongkorn University and a Master of Business Administration (Finance) from Thammasart University. Presently, she is First Vice President of Business Infrastructure at Thanachart Bank (PCL). Khun Pensri is also a certified PMP®.
