Agile or Adaptive Project Management has become critical in many successful software and application development projects. Scrum is an iterative and incremental agile software  development framework which lends itself to the effective and flexible management of application development projects.

The key premise of Scrum is an acknowledgment that the customer base can change their minds during the project development phase. Without the ability to address these unpredicted challenges the problem cannot be fully understood or defined, and the software adapted to reflect customer sentiment. An empirical approach adopted by Scrum maximizes the team’s ability to rapidly respond to emerging requirements.

The workshop will give attendees an understanding of how Scrum methodology works using the successful Orchestrack Corporaton as a relevant and contemporary case study on how Scrum can be used in your application development projects.

Orchestrack is a product team of Orchestronix Corporation that succesfully developed automation of broadcast monitoring systems to track content such as advertising, music and programs on radio, TV and streaming media. Software development / management is the heart and soul of the company. After going through selection criteria, Orchestrack picked Scrum as their agile methodology managing the entrie software development of the company.
