Event Highlights for April 2007

On Wednesday 25 April 2007, the Bangkok Chapter hosted Mr. Ronald van Kleunen as the Monthly Meeting speaker.  Mr. van Kleunen provided an excellent presentation on "Wireless Security Risks in Thailand".   A couple of the key topics included an overview of wireless networks and applications in the industry and a summary of the risks that companies and employees face when using wireless applications.  Ron also provided a video clip on wireless communication risks and he conducted a live demonstration showing how our notebook computers and mobile phones might be vulnerable.  All-in-all this was a very interesting and lively presentation.  Many thanks to Mr. Ronald van Kleunen, founder and Managing Director of Globeron Pte Ltd, based in Singapore.
