Project Management for Free

To: PMI Bangkok Chapter Members and Friends

PMI Bangkok Chapter is delighted to welcome Ms Alice Roberts, PMP to speak at the Monthly Meeting of the Chapter on Wednesday, 21 May 2008.

TOPIC: Project Management for Free - Resources for Project Managers

With a little effort to find them, there are many resources available for PMI Members  to help you develop your PM skills, or to assist you with your Project Management. Over the last 15 years of working as a project manager, Alice has collected many resources which she will share in this session.

In this interactive session Alice will demonstrate a selection of available tools and channels which may be of value to you such as:

* A tool for developing your career plan and assessing your PM skills
* Standards and Publications - where to find free online publications, and free books
* PMI librarians- how to get an answer to any PM question you ever had for free
* Templates for free
* Webinars and presentations for free
* Email lists and bulletin boards for free
* PMP study help for free
* PDUs for free

There will be an opportunity at the session for members to contribute your own tips for free stuff for Project Managers.

Note: Although this session is not completely free (see details to the left for small charge to cover costs)- if you like to get much value for a low cost or a small amount of effort, then this is the session for you.
